Delhi daredevils after playing 11 years of IPL as same team. now, have renewed themselves. Team have changed their logo and name from Delhi Daredevils to Delhi Capitals. 

This is conformed officially by the team staff and owners and will now play IPL 2019 as Delhi Capitals.

Possible Reasons why Delhi daredevils changed to Delhi Capitals 

1. Change in Ownership of the team 

This is another big news that the ownership of Delhi have changed this season and now a new partner Jindal steel group owns 50 % stake of Delhi capitals and it is possible that because of new partners want this name to be changed, Delhi is renamed. 

2. Lucky Unlucky Factor

We all know that Delhi has been the weakest team in IPL so far and also have no big success in any of the IPL season. But this year this need to be changed and it is also possible that team owners might looking team's name as lucky unlucky factor for teams performance.

Whatever may be the reason but hope Delhi have good IPL season this year and may get some success under their new identity.
