1. Virat Kohli -  17 crores inr 

As expected, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is again the most expensive player for second consecutive year in IPL. Royal challengers Bangalore is ready to pay a huge amount of 17 crore inr for VK, which is highest in the history of IPL. Hope he doesn't disappoint the team and his fans in this season of IPL.

2. MS Dhoni -  15 crores inr 

After current Indian Captain, here comes Ex - Indian captain MS dhoni on the second position with another huge amount. Defending champions Chennai super kings are ready to pay 15 crore inr for thier captain. Hope MsD can lead his team to victory for IPL 12 also.

3. Rohit Sharma - 15 crores inr 

After a disappointing season last year. Mumbai Indians wants this year to be better than that, and for that they are again going pay a huge amount of 15 crore inr for their captain Rohit Sharma.

4. Rishabh pant - 15 crores inr 

Surprised? Aren't you, well yeah this the most surprising name in this whole list.

But, Delhi Daredevils franchise are ready to pay him this much. DD have never won a IPL tittle ever and considered to the weakest team in IPL but, this year they are going to try hard to get to the top. And, Rishabh pant will play a vital role for thier team. 

5. Sunil Narine - 12.5 crores inr

Kolkata Knight riders is known for being the best spin bowling attack in IPL. And, Sunil Narine is a vital part of their bowling attack. but, moreover Sunil Narine is not just a bowling option but, he is a disastrous opening batsmen who have destroyed many bowling attacks with his thunderous batting last year. And by far I can say this is the best bet by KKR this IPL.

6. Ben stokes - 12.5 crores inr 

Well, another surprise right here. We all know that last season haven't been so great for Rajasthan Royals as well as Ben stokes. 

Stokes can't stand on the expectations of the team and his fans. This is somewhat a risky and strange bet by RR. But, if the team believes in him, he deserve this.

7. Steve Smith - 12.5 crores inr

Another big bet by Rajasthan royals for their Ex - captain and returning Aussie giant Steve smith. But this is so obvious price for one of finest batsmen in the world. It can prove a nice move for RR to put big bucks on smith. But still, time will tell how this much it was worth it.

8. David Warner -  12.5 crores inr 

Another returning Australian batsmen going to be one of the highest paid player this season. Sunrisers Hyderabad after a successful season last year, is again ready to dominate again this year. And, now with thier old captain and one the top batsmen in international cricket David Warner.

9. Suresh Raina  -  11 crores inr

Chennai super kings after winning last years IPL tittle, now going to dominate again with their legendary trio of Dhoni, Raina and jadeja. This time paying a huge amount for Suresh Raina. but, this amount for their most trusted and most played player is nothing big to talk about. 

10. Chris morris -  11 crores inr 

I don't think many people will agree on this, but I think this is necessary for Delhi daredevils to retain Chris Morris at this price tag because he is the only reliable overseas player Delhi have. Also morris is a all-rounder which increases his overall value in the team

11. KL Rahul - 11 crores inr 

After last year's performance of KL rahul, I think he is underrated for this price, but still this is good price overall. Last year he was top scorer from Kings XI Punjab side, and in last quarter of the season, he was the sole warrior when team was losing matches continuously. This is the best bet by KXIP to retain a top class in form batsman according to me.

12. Ab de villiers - 11 crore inr 

Another underrated player I think, but whatever this is the best deal any team can get. Also ABd with VK Increases my hopes for Royal challengers Bangalore to achieve something in this season of IPL and remove the mark of unluckiest team in whole IPL history.

13. Manish pandey -  11 crores inr

Looking at last season of IPL, I can say that this is something I could call overrated but I think Sunrisers Hyderabad also believes that manish have a lot more potential then this. And that might be the reason SRH is putting big bucks on manish for another time.

14. Hardik pandya - 11 crores inr 

I was literally expecting it to be the case as Mumbai Indians really needs a fast bowling all rounder because pollard is not an option for MI anymore as well they have already released mustifizur rahaman which was a good bowling option. So, I think its a fair deal.
