1. IPL to be pre-schedule in 2019
Generally IPL falls around April or may. But this year its going to be different, IPL is going to take place most probably in mid of the march. This decision is taken by BCCI to provide proper rest to players for World Cup which is going to start just after IPL on 30th may 2019.
2. IPL 2019 going to played outside of India
As we already seen in IPL 2009 and IPL 2016 that the tournament has taken place outside of India. This year can be the same and we might see IPL again taking place in a foreign country. It is because of general elections in India happening at the same time around IPL 2019 and due to security issues in India. BCCI have to take IPL matches outside of india.
3. Match timings to be changed in IPL 2019
As we already said that this year IPL matches can possible take place outside India. Due to this, IPL match timings can be affected due to change in timezones of countries. But this won't make any huge change because BCCI have to retain Indian viewership and can't afford to lose viewers due to timings.
4. Player release policy to be introduced in IPL 2019
Last time in Vivo IPL 2018, we have seen IPL teams trading & releasing a huge no. of players in IPL auctions. But this year a new policy is going to introduce for player retention & releasing. "Player release policy" under which teams can release 5 to 11 players which can be buyed by other franchise in auction or pre-auction trading.
5. David Warner and Steve Smith can return in action in IPL 2019
Two big Aussie names "David Warner & Steve Smith" missed the IPL last year due to ban. But this year's IPL can witness the return of this two massive player and their fans can see them back in action in IPL 2019.
6. Mini - Auctions in IPL 2019
IPL auctions 2019 can be opposite of IPL auctions in 2018. Last year we witnessed a mega auction with a huge no. of players traded between the teams, which was about 2 whole days long. But this year's IPL auctions are going to be mini auctions with only some players going to trade in it. It is because this years IPL auction will only contain those players who are released by the teams and some uncapped players.
7. Indian pacers might miss IPL matches in 2019
As we know world cup is set to start just after the end of IPL 2019. Due to this Indian skipper Virat Kohli wants Indian pacers to rest during IPL 2019 to get themselves ready for world cup just after IPL. Because of this Indian pacers might end up missing IPL this year, and teams might miss the presence of many big names in their bowling units.
8. Mid - season transfers in IPL for the first time
This is one of the biggest rumour that we also heard before in IPL 2018. but this year in IPL 2019 this might turn to reality and we might see some mid-season transfers in which teams can exchange players in between the season.
9. Two DRS available for teams in IPL 2019
As we know last year one of the biggest change in IPL history & IPL rules was to introduce DRS review system in IPL matches under which players can challenge umpire decision and also might change it. But last year teams use to get only 1 DRS available to use in a match, but this year it is going to change to two per match this year.
10. Early IPL auctions in 2019
As we already said IPL is scheduled to take place early this year and it is due to the same reason IPL auctions 2019 are going to take place earlier then its normal IPL schedule. IPL auctions 2019 are set to take place anytime in late Decembers.

The dates for the General Elections 2019 might not be out but the schedule for the first two weeks (17 matches) of Indian Premier League season 12 schedule has been announced. The first match will be between played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers on 23rd March at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. With neutral venues expected to replace certain fixtures in the remainder of the season, the schedule for the matches after the first 17 fixtures is going to be revealed after Lok Sabha 2019 election dates are announced.
